Ofsted Registered Day Nursery
Flora House is a family owned and managed day nursery, providing quality childcare from a spacious building that provides a homely atmosphere. All children are cared for in an environment that is happy, loving and caring and children learn through play. Please come and visit so you can see for yourself.
Day Nursery Opening Times
We are open Monday to Friday from 8.00am – 5.30pm, childcare before or after these times are available upon request for an extra charge. We are closed Bank Holidays and between Christmas and the New Year.

We provide childcare for children from birth to 7 years 11 months. We offer flexible childcare and all our staff are friendly and approachable. Nursery Free Entitlement is available from the term after your child is 3 years old. We deliver 15 hours free funding to all 3/ 4 year olds and 30 hours funding to qualifying parents. We also deliver 2 year old funding to qualifying parents
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is organised into three prime areas of learning & development and four specific areas for all children aged 0-5 years. Working towards the areas of learning helps the practitioner to observe and assess each child as an individual and plan further activities/ opportunities to help each child grow and develop.
